Dawn has been an animal lover as long as they can remember, some of their fondest childhood memories involve a mutt named Reggie. Dawn and Reggie would spend hours playing fetch, learning tricks, and romping in the local playgrounds. Some of the adventures Dawn has had with animals include but are not limited to fostering shelter dogs, assisting in early puppy training of assistance dogs (starting at 4 weeks of age), Therapy Team Handler for Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, assistant trainer in Women’s Project Therapy Training Group, a member of The Marine Mammal Center Harbor Seal Crew, and a Canine Handler for the Student Reading with Canines Program in the Santa Rosa public school system.
